A lack of floral resources (a fancy way of saying there aren't enough flowers) is a major limiting factor to the abundance and diversity of pollinators in urban areas. Adding more flowering plants to Montreal neighbourhoods is a fun and easy way to help pollinator populations grow and succeed.

Guerrilla Gardening 

We will be going out to sow seeds and plant seedlings in spots around Montreal that need some more greenery. Without asking permission, we will plant in places like abandoned lots, untended medians, or empty planters.You can do some guerrilla gardening of your own. The seed bombs we sell every spring are perfect for this!

​In addition to the garden we've started at Loyola in 2019, we are working towards expanding our plots on campus in the coming semesters!
